The primary purpose of counseling services is to help clients develop and maintain their capacity to achieve their goals. Through Individual Treatment Planning, clients will receive supportive assistance in identifying their goals and developing a plan to achieve them.
A team of behavioral health professionals, under the supervision of Board Certified Psychiatrist, Dr. R. Zielinski, prescribe and monitor medication. Services focus on improvement and continued stabilization of the client's level of functioning.
The OFCS Day Treatment Program is designed for children and adolescents with a variety of mental health issues. The program consists of a structured schedule of therapeutic activities designed to improve both behavioral function and communication.
Often the critical factor in enabling a child to remain in a community based program is the child's ability to stay in school. OFCS provides a number of ancillary services to schools including individual and group counseling, comprehensive evaluations, staff training, social work and employee assistance programs.
